Polaris 23
I spent about three months putting together the Lestat, Nicki, and Marius costumes. All pieces of the costumes with the exception of our undershirts were drafted by me. The costumes were inspired by late 18th century men's wear, but I took a lot of liberties. The three costumes together won me a "Best Artisan Worksmanship" award at the Polaris 23 masquerade, which bumped me up into the Master category.
The wigs were all from Cosworx. Lestat is a Medium Blond Linda, Marius is a Light Blond Angela 750, and Nicki is a #4 Scarlet. The embroidery on the jackets was done on my Singer Curvy (love!). The shoes for Lestat and Nicki were modified from existing black shoes by adding a longer tongue and fake buckle closure.
